This may help for other reunions in the future and not just the Class of 1979 Reunion this year - your reunion committee may have to call several months in advance and reserve some rooms to get comparable rates (Thanks Kay!!!)
The two closest hotels I found to the two places our reunion was at (Zeppoz and Fireside Grille on Bishop Blvd) were:
Quality Inn Paradise Creek

I asked for the rate for PHS Class Reunion 1979 and in my case they quoted me a rate of $76.49/night
They have all non-smoking rooms, a mini fridge and microwave in all rooms, and a free hot breakfast, swimming pool etc.

***But they only had one room left for the "PHS Class of 1979 Reunion) so they may or may not be an option anymore.
They may have the option of a sofa sleeper in the room, and they said you could request a microwave and possibly a mini fridge?, and they have a free hot breakfast, swimming pool etc.
